Fade in:
INT. JAPANESE RESTAURANT - NIGHT
JACK, a well dressed mid30s Caucasian sits cross legged at the low table. Traditional Japanese music plays in the background. Of the six other tables in view, one has a Japanese couple seated. The others are Caucasian.
He looks at the selection of sushi on the table. He picks up the chopsticks in his right hand and chooses one. At the same time, his left is independently writing something on a piece of paper.
NARRATOR (V.O.)
The first of the Mad Poets appeared in 2010. Only the Network paid attention.
Jack’s eyes track over to the paper. His eyes shut. He continues writing. His right eye springs open. It strains to look at the paper. The left hand puts down the pen.
Jack’s left hand thrusts itself over his right eye. The right hand knocks the left hand away. The right hand now grabs Jack’s hair and drags Jack’s head over toward the paper. Ad lib patrons’ shocked reactions.
The left hand grabs the piece of paper and crumples it. The right hand crashes down onto the left hand, crushing bones audibly. Jack groans. The right hand reaches for the paper and tries to smooth it out.
The injured left hand awkwardly grasps a chopstick. While the right hand is occupied the left hand thrusts the chopstick into the right eye, breaking it off half way. Jack screams. The right hand spasms in pain and gropes for the chopstick.
The left hand grabs a plate. Using it as a hammer, it cudgels the chopstick until it penetrates Jack’s brain. Jack slumps over dead.
